How do I register on the open app?

Ensure that your registered mobile number and your registered email address are active. Keep the SIM of your registered mobile number in the primary SIM slot of your device. The customer ID is mentioned in the welcome letter and also printed on your cheque book.

Please note that new registration is not allowed for minors, HUFs or entities belonging to sole proprietors. To access the minor account, HUF account or entity account, register using the customer ID/registered mobile number of the guardian, Karta or sole proprietor, respectively.
Follow these steps to register:

1. Download the Mobile Banking App, open from Google Play Store (for Android devices) or Apple App Store (for iOS devices)

2. Click on log in to your Axis Bank account

3. Allow the app access to certain phone functions, like calls and SMS

4. If your device has multiple SIM cards, choose the one which is registered with the bank

5. An SMS will be automatically sent from your device to verify your details. In the case of an iOS device, click Send on the message inbox to trigger the SMS.

6. If multiple customer IDs are linked to the registered mobile number, choose one to proceed.

7. If you have a current account or a savings account, authenticate using one of the available options:

• OTP: Enter customer ID, date of birth, PAN for residents/ Passport for non-residents, and two separate OTPs sent on your registered mobile number and registered email address.

• Debit Card: Enter debit card details

• Internet Banking: Enter log in ID and password

8. If you are a standalone credit card customer, authenticate using one of the available options:

• OTP: Enter customer ID, date of birth, PAN for residents/passport for non-residents, and two separate OTPs sent on your registered mobile number and registered email address.

• Credit card: Enter your credit card details

9. If you are a standalone loan customer, authenticate using one of the available options:

• OTP: Enter customer ID, date of birth, PAN for residents/passport for non-residents, and two separate OTPs sent on your registered mobile number and registered email address

• Loan: Enter your loan account details

10. If you are a standalone forex card customer, authenticate using one of the available options:

• OTP: Enter customer ID, date of birth, PAN for residents/passport for non-residents, and two separate OTPs sent on your registered mobile number and registered email address

• Forex card: Enter your forex card details

11. Enter your name and accept the terms and conditions.

12. Set a six-digit MPIN of your choice. Kindly note it down, as it will be required during transactions via Mobile Banking App, open in the future.

13. You can opt to authenticate the app using your biometrics, like face ID or a fingerprint, if your device has them enabled.

14. Your registration is now complete. You can now log in to the Mobile Banking App, open using your MPIN or biometrics (if enabled)
