You can stop unpaid cheques using any of the following methods:
a) Mobile Banking App, open:
Log in> Go to Dashboard
Tap the three-bar menu (bottom right corner)>Cheque> Cheque Status / Stop Cheque
b) Internet Banking:
Login>Go to Dashboard
Click the three-bar menu (bottom right corner) >Cheque> Cheque Status / Stop Cheque
c) SMS request:
Send the following SMS from your registered mobile number:
STOPCHQ <6-digit Cheque Number> <Last 6 digits of Account Number> <3-digit Reason Code>
Send to: +91 9951860002
Reason codes:
019 – Cheque book lost
020 – Cheque book mutilated
021 – Cheque book stolen
022 – Cheque forged
023 – Cheque lost
018 – Cheque book not received
016 – Others
017 – Wrong amount mentioned
d) Axis Bank branch:
Visit your nearest Axis Bank branch and submit the stop cheque request in person.
